Product Warranty and Repair Policy
These are the Warranty and Repair Policies for each product. These policies are subject to change without notice. Please always ensure you are viewing the latest version.
AoharuNEXT Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") provides warranties for the following target products based on these warranty provisions.
1. Target Products

FocusRay Wired Model (AONXV-001-WR)
2. Scope of Warranty
-
In the event of failure or malfunction occurring under normal use of the Company's products, we will repair or replace the product free of charge during the warranty period.
-
To request repair or replacement under warranty, please prepare the warranty card included with the product along with documents proving purchase (receipt, etc.) and send them to the Company together with the product.
-
The product for which the warranty is being claimed must arrive at the Company within the warranty period.
-
The warranty card included with the product will not be reissued under any circumstances.
3. Exclusions from Warranty
Even within the warranty period, repair or replacement will be subject to a fee in the following cases:

Failure to present or attach the warranty card and proof of purchase (receipt, etc.).

Failure or malfunction caused by use other than the normal methods intended by the Company.
-
Failure or malfunction caused by deficiencies in transportation, dropping, or storage management after purchase (*).
-
Failure or malfunction caused by water damage (corrosion), dropping, impact, pressure, or entry of foreign objects.
-
Failure or malfunction caused by earthquakes, fire, wind/flood damage, lightning, salt damage, gas damage, abnormal voltage, or other acts of God.
-
Failure or malfunction caused by other equipment connected to the product.
-
Requests to repair or replace parts that are not malfunctioning.
-
If the purchased product was transferred (used items), whether for a fee or free of charge.

Other cases where the Company reasonably determines that a paid repair is appropriate. (*: If damage occurs during transit for products purchased via the Company's online store, etc., the carrier's insurance may be applicable.)
4. Warranty Period
-
The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase.
-
For purchases made via Kickstarter, the warranty period shall be one year starting from August 1, 2026.
-
For customers within the EU, we provide a two-year warranty in accordance with the law.
5. Miscellaneous
-
Regardless of whether the product is within the warranty period, customers are responsible for shipping costs incurred when sending products to the Company. However, if the product is covered by warranty, the shipping cost will be discounted or refunded.

The maximum amount covered by the Company for shipping costs shall be 3,000 Japanese Yen (JPY) if the purchaser resides outside of Japan.
-
The latest version of the Warranty Policy shall always apply.
■ Repair Policy
AoharuNEXT Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") provides after-sales services such as repairs for the following target products based on these repair provisions.

2. About Repairs
-
We do not provide on-site repair services.
-
Parts replaced during repair will not be returned to the customer under any circumstances.
-
To ensure product safety and functionality, the Company may, at its discretion, perform repairs on essential areas regardless of the specific repair request.
-
Refurbished or improved parts may be used for repairs depending on circumstances.
-
Depending on repair requirements, the product may be replaced, or the serial number may be changed.
-
We cannot accommodate requests that exceed the Company's established quality standards.
-
Products sent for a repair estimate may not be returned in their original state if the customer cancels the repair request and asks for the product's return.
-
Cancellations are not accepted once repair work has commenced.
-
The return of repaired products to the customer will be handled by a carrier designated by the Company.
-
If the same failure occurs within 3 months of the repair completion date (as stated on the enclosed repair statement) due to repair materials or workmanship, despite normal use as described in the manual, the Company will provide repair or replacement free of charge.
3. Refusal of Repair
Repair services may be refused in the following cases:

Evidence of disassembly, modification, or repair by parties other than the Company (excluding the fixed mount portion).

The identification label (showing model number and legal certification marks) is missing or shows signs of being peeled off.
-
The damage is so severe that the Company determines it is difficult to maintain the product's functionality even after repair.
-
Failures or damage resulting from use outside of general household environments (e.g., business use or rental) without the Company's permission.
-
The Company suspects profit-oriented repair requests, such as multiple product repair applications within a short period or repeated requests for the same fault.
-
Other cases where the Company determines that refusal of exchange or repair is appropriate.
4. Repair Fees and Payment

Repair requests after the warranty period has expired will be paid services.
-
Even within the warranty period, repairs may be subject to a fee based on the Warranty Policy.
-
Repair fees are calculated based on the condition of the product at the time of receipt.
-
Payment for repair fees can be made via credit card, convenience store payment, or bank transfer.
-
Depending on the nature of the repair, the cost may exceed the original purchase price. Except for cases covered under free warranty repair, such costs shall be borne by the customer.
5. Miscellaneous
-
We do not sell individual repair parts.
-
VR headset mounting brackets for the FocusRay series can be purchased from the Company's official EC store. If only the mount (clip part) is damaged, you may replace it yourself. However, if the attachment part on the main unit (where the clip is screwed in) is damaged, it cannot be repaired by the user; please request a professional repair.

Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company, the Company shall not be liable for damages arising from product failure or repair beyond the scope of typically expected damages.

The Company may change the Repair Policy at any time. Changes become effective once posted on the Company's website.

Please select "Request for Repair" from the inquiry form below and contact us. When doing so, ensure that you include the following information in the description field:

Product Name and Model Name

For the FocusRay Wireless Model, the model name is "AONXV-001-W".

For the FocusRay Wired Model, the model name is "AONXV-001-WR".

Date of Purchase and Store Name

If you supported us via Kickstarter, please state "Kickstarter".

For other purchases, please provide the name of the online store (EC store).

Description of the Issue

Sending Your Product for Repair

Packing Your Product

Please ensure the power switch is turned OFF before packing. (Note: The FocusRay Wired Model does not have a power switch).

Do not attach shipping labels directly to the original product packaging (outer box). Please place the product inside a separate shipping box for transport.

Included Items
If the product is within the warranty period, please include the following:

The Warranty Card (with a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase attached).
-
The Product to be repaired.
-
Accessories included with the product.
-
The Repair Request Form.
Note: You may leave the dedicated mounting bracket attached, or you may remove it before shipping.

Shipping Instructions
Once packing is complete, please send the package to the address provided by us at the time of your repair inquiry.
-
You may use any courier of your choice, but please send the package with shipping costs prepaid (at your expense).
-
For Warranty Repairs: In accordance with our Warranty Policy, the actual shipping cost will be discounted from the repair fee or refunded.
-
For International Customers: Please be advised that there is a maximum limit to the amount the Company will cover for international shipping costs, as stipulated in the Warranty Policy.
-
Even for customers residing overseas, items must be sent to our repair center in Japan.
