This page introduces how to use the pledge manager, Hive.Step 0: Check your emailWe have sent an email like the one below to the email address registered with Kickstarter. Please check your inbox and access Hive using the URL provided in the email. (Please do not share this URL with others.)For customers who pledged by May 30, 2026, emails are being sent out sequentially starting June 1. (Please note that there may be a lag due to the system.)For customers who pledged by June 5, 2026, emails will be sent from June 6 onwards.For customers who pledged by June 12, 2026, emails will be sent out sequentially from June 13 onwards.Language Settings in HiveIn Hive, you can change the display language to English, French, German, Spanish, Greek, Japanese, or Korean. Please feel free to select the language that is most convenient for you.Please note that all instructions provided on this page are based on the English interface.Step 1: Entering Shipping InformationThe email address registered with Kickstarter is displayed within the black frame. This cannot be changed; however, if you would like to use a different email address, please enter it in the box directly below.Below is an explanation of the fields within the red frame, from top to bottom:① Full Name (Last Name / First Name) | Required Please enter your legal name. When entering, please include a half-width space between your last name and first name.② Street Address | Required Please enter your street address (excluding building name). Example: If your address is "1-2 Nihonbashi Hakozaki-cho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 103-0015," you would enter "Nihonbashi Hakozaki-cho 1-2."③ Building Name / Apartment Number, etc. | Optional If you live in an apartment or condominium, please enter the building name and room number.④ Country/Region | Required Please select the country where the items will be shipped.⑤ State/Prefecture | Required Please enter the prefecture where you reside (e.g., Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka).⑥ City/Municipality | Required Please enter the city, ward, town, or village where you reside. Example: If your address is "1-2 Nihonbashi Hakozaki-cho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 103-0015," you would enter "Chuo-ku."⑦ Postal Code | Required Please enter the postal code for your address. Example: If your address is "103-0015," enter "103-0015."⑧ Phone Number | Required Please enter a phone number where you can be reached. We will not contact you by phone, but the delivery carrier may do so if necessary.*Depending on your country of residence, you may need to select a state.Please select your preferred shipping method.For customers outside the U.S.: We recommend E-Packet or EMS. E-Packet is the most affordable option but may take some time. We believe EMS is the better choice for customers in most countries.For customers in the U.S.: We recommend UGX. E-Packet and EMS are not available due to U.S. customs policies. Additionally, for customers who purchased the FocusRay wired model (Starter Kit), we recommend UPS.You may also use services such as FedEx or UPS; however, please note that for UPS, shipping is limited to the FocusRay wired model (Starter Kit) for all destinations.Once all fields are filled and you have confirmed that the information is correct, click "Next: Pledge Selection."Step 2: Confirming your PledgeOn this screen, your pledge details from Kickstarter are displayed within the red frame. Once you have confirmed that everything is correct, click "Next: Survey."Please note that the amount you need to pay in the pledge manager is indicated in the "Remaining Balance" field, shown within the purple frame.Step 3: Selecting the Dedicated Mounting ModelOn this screen, you will need to select the model for your dedicated mount.The options within the red frame are regarding the mount included as standard. This is displayed for all customers.The options within the purple frame are displayed only to those who have purchased an additional dedicated mount separately.Both sections are required, so please select the option that corresponds to your device or the required model. Once you have finished your selections, click "Next: Select Add-ons."Step 4: Making Additional Purchases (Optional)On this screen, you have the option to make additional purchases. You can purchase additional FocusRay units, dedicated mounts, and more. You may also purchase multiple quantities of the same item.You can also purchase the FocusRay Extension at a special limited price here. There is no limit on the number of units you can purchase.To add an item, click the green plus (+) button.To decrease the quantity, click the red minus (-) button.Please note that if you add a FocusRay Extension, the shipping cost will be added automatically.This step is optional. If you do not wish to purchase anything, proceed without selecting any items and click "Next: Confirm Order."For those who are making additional purchases, once you have finished selecting all your items, click "Next: Confirm Order."Step 5: Review Details, Confirm Final Amount, and Complete PaymentAfter reviewing the creator's terms and conditions, if you agree, click the "Confirm Order" button.Note: At the bottom of the terms, there is an option regarding whether to receive marketing emails from Hive. If you do not wish to receive them, please adjust your settings accordingly.The English version of the terms and conditions is provided after the Japanese version.Please also check the amount displayed in the red frame. The payment amount to be processed in the pledge manager is only the amount shown in the "Remaining Balance" field, indicated within the purple frame. The amount already paid via Kickstarter has already been accounted for.Payment is processed via PayPal or Stripe. Please be assured that neither our company nor Hive stores your credit card information.Step 6: Awaiting DeliveryOnce the payment is completed, there are no further actions required on your part. Please check Kickstarter for project updates.
