FocusRay uses Project Babble for its software, so it is compatible with all headsets that can be used with PCVR. We have confirmed that face tracking works properly on the following platforms: ・VRChat ・ChilloutVR ・Resonite It will also work on any platform that Project Babble runs on.

The battery lasts for up to 3 hours and takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge.

Even with the FocusRay wireless model, it can be used while connected and powered via a wired connection.

FocusRay does not support eye tracking. However, we are currently preparing to add eye tracking as an additional module in the future.

This product is primarily targeted for sale in Japan, the United States, Australia, European countries, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong, but will be sold worldwide (limited to regions where shipping is possible) through Kickstarter. (We will continue to work on expanding our sales area, including obtaining legal certification.) However, in accordance with international treaties, Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, U.S. OFAC regulations, and other related laws and regulations, we do not sell or ship to the following regions. • Sanctioned countries and regions (Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Venezuela, etc.) • Areas under international embargo, such as Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk • Other regions where export is prohibited by the laws and regulations of each country. In the unlikely event that sales or shipping becomes impossible after your support due to restrictions imposed by delivery companies or changes in international regulations, the relevant order may be canceled. In the future, we may expand sales to regions other than those listed above through our sales partners. In that case, we will provide separate information.

Currently, shipments are scheduled to begin in August 2026, but this may be delayed due to delays in product certification by regulatory authorities in each country. Please see the Kickstarter Risks page for details. General sales will begin sequentially after the Kickstarter campaign ends.

FocusRay is designed, developed and shipped from Japan. All domestic deliveries are shipped via Yamato Transport. Our international delivery partners are FedEx and Japan Post. You cannot specify a delivery partner for international deliveries.

On Kickstarter, you can still make late pledges (purchases) at the regular price even after the campaign ends. After the delayed pledge period ends, the product will be available for purchase through our e-commerce store and retail partners. More details will be announced at a later date.

All FocusRay models come with a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. If you purchase through Kickstarter, we offer a one-year warranty starting from August 1, 2026. If a product malfunctions or breaks down during the warranty period, we will replace or repair it free of charge. Please note that defects and malfunctions that are covered by the warranty are as per the warranty regulations.

The FocusRay series has been certified or is scheduled to be certified in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations of the following countries. ・CE (EU) ・FCC (USA) ・UKCA (United Kingdom) ・OFCA (Hong Kong) ・RCM (Australia) ・Technical Standards Compliance Certificate (Japan) Each certification mark is printed on a sticker on the side of the main unit.
