We would like to provide an additional report and guidance regarding the matter previously announced in our "Apology and Notice Regarding Product Recall for FocusRay Wired Model (First Report)" by AoharuNEXT Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Rion Moriyama; hereinafter "the Company").

It has come to light that the FocusRay wired model, released on March 18, 2026, contains defects in its design and manufacturing. To prevent any accidents and ensure overall quality, we hereby inform you that we are executing a product recall for the affected items.

We deeply apologize once again for the significant inconvenience caused to customers who own the product. The Company will contact affected customers individually, and we kindly ask that you send in your unit for inspection and repair at your earliest convenience.

Note: As of this stage, no serious accidents or other incidents have been confirmed.

The application form for the FocusRay Wired Model recall will go live on September 14, 2026, at 00:00 JST.

We kindly ask customers who own the affected product to apply as early as possible and receive repair services provided by the Company.

A Yamato Transport sales driver, commissioned by the Company, will arrive to pick up the package at the address provided during your requested date and time slot. The driver will bring the shipping label and packaging materials (such as cardboard boxes) upon arrival, so please only have the FocusRay Wired Model unit ready for collection.

Note: You are not required to include the mount, but you may include it if you wish.

If the received product is damaged or defective outside the recall scope, we may perform additional repairs to ensure normal operation. Furthermore, if there are clear traces of modification or disassembly by the customer, we cannot guarantee proper functionality; therefore, the unit will be handled as a replacement instead.

In some cases, the standard product warranty may apply, and we will contact affected customers individually.

Please note that products remain subject to recall even if the purchase price has already been refunded.

1. Background

Following customer feedback regarding difficulty connecting cables to the top USB Type-C port, an internal investigation was conducted. To avoid shipping delays for units produced using unrevised casing data, an emergency measure was implemented where certain camera components were removed and fixed with double-sided tape. Forcing the final production run of 120 units under these conditions resulted in a severe drop in product quality, leading to the defect and the subsequent decision to initiate a recall.

2. Nature of the Defect

Due to flaws in casing design and assembly during manufacturing, internal circuit board durability is insufficient. This may cause the internal circuit board to detach during use, leading to short circuits caused by interference between internal boards. Furthermore, improper wiring methods may cause wiring to break. In the worst-case scenario, these issues could result in smoke generation or fire.

3. Corrective Measures

We will replace the casing with a defect-free design and correct both the internal circuit board assembly process and wiring methods.

Notes:

• Products disassembled or altered by customers may not be eligible for this recall repair, as secondary effects outside the official repair scope cannot be ruled out.

• The warranty period following repair is 1 year from the date stated on the repair statement, in accordance with our warranty policy.

• All recall repairs, including shipping costs, will be fully covered by the Company.

6. Information Regarding Customers Who Have Received a Refund and Own an Affected Product (Updated September 7, 2026)

For customers who have received a refund from us and own a product subject to the recall, we will collect the product as part of the recall.

Please note that we will not be offering repairs for these products. We ask for your understanding and request that you submit your recall request as soon as possible.
