Today, we announced "FocusRay Extension," an eye-tracking device for VR SNS that can be used in conjunction with prescription lenses.

This is a multi-device that can be used in combination with the existing FocusRay, as well as FocusRay Extension as a standalone application.

Unlike conventional products, it employs a magnetic adsorption method*, allowing users who use prescription lenses attached to VR headset lenses to use it without any problems.

Furthermore, for those who purchased the FocusRay series (AONXV-001-W / AONXV-001-WR) through the currently running Kickstarter campaign (March 14th - May 12th, 2026), we will offer it at a special limited-time price to interested customers.

1. Product lineup, sales price, and planned sales regions

FocusRay Extension will only be available as a wireless connection model via Wi-Fi, and will consist of two modules: a camera module and a core module.

Please note that the FocusRay series will continue to be sold individually as before.

As a stretch goal achieved by exceeding 165% of our Kickstarter campaign, we are offering the following limited-time price to those who have already supported us and those who will support us in the future.

Shipping will begin sequentially from the release date of October 17, 2026. Please note that this shipping date differs from that for those who purchased FocusRay (AONXV-001-W / AONXV-001-WR) via Kickstarter. (Customers who purchased via Kickstarter will receive their FocusRay and FocusRay Extension in two separate shipments.)

Those who purchase the limited edition Supporter Edition (35 sets available) through the Kickstarter campaign will receive a special bonus: an even lower price (as stated above). We will contact each purchaser individually. (Purchase is optional.)
