Basic Policy | We Prioritize Safety and Quality Above All Else.
For all products and services provided by our Group, we are committed to always placing safety as our top priority, followed by quality.
Furthermore, we will strive to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees working at our facilities, implementing measures such as preventing excessive working hours and ensuring thorough safety management.
Product Safety Initiatives
Our Group takes the issues related to quality that arose in September 2026 very seriously and is implementing the following product safety initiatives.

1. Disseminating and Instilling the Basic Policy of Prioritizing Safety Above All Else
Within our Group, we are working to disseminate and instill this basic policy through training provided at the start of employment and, for executives and staff, through regular sessions in accordance with our Basic Compliance Policy.
2. Thorough and Systematized Quality Control
To ensure uniform quality control across the entire company, we are expanding our regulations to eliminate arbitrary decisions in all areas. Furthermore, whenever specialized opinions, perspectives, or reviews are deemed necessary, we will unhesitatingly conduct reviews by in-house and external technical experts.
Additionally, we are establishing a system to ensure that any instance where a product fails to meet standards—or where such a failure is foreseeable—is immediately escalated.
Furthermore, we will standardize data management—such as through the use of an internal cloud system—to prevent discrepancies among personnel.
3. Ensuring Open Communication to Eliminate Hesitation in Reporting Recalls and Similar Incidents
Should any incident occur within our Group that warrants a recall or similar report, the Quality Assurance and Crisis Management Office will take the lead in ensuring that employees do not hesitate to report such incidents or conceal their occurrence.
We will also establish systems to ensure that the entire company can work together as one to respond effectively when such incidents occur.
4. Insurance Coverage
SinceFirst half of 2026, our Group has maintained business-related insurance and product liability insurance (PL insurance) covering operations worldwide.
We will continue to maintain this coverage and periodically review it to ensure it remains adequate.

Our Group treats all business partners as equals and conducts fair business transactions in compliance with laws, regulations, and social norms. When selecting business partners, we make impartial decisions based on criteria such as quality, price, and reliability, and clearly define the details and terms of each transaction.
Furthermore, we will never engage in any misconduct, such as making unreasonable demands by exploiting a position of superiority, bribery, or excessive entertainment, and we aim to foster mutual trust and sustainable growth through honest business dealings.

Our Group will appropriately manage personal and confidential information entrusted to us by customers and business partners in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. We will continuously strengthen our information security measures and strive to prevent information leaks, loss, and unauthorized use.

Our Group will conduct accurate and proper accounting in accordance with accounting standards and relevant laws and regulations. We will record and report financial information in good faith to ensure management transparency.
Basic Policy | We will establish a system to detect and correct misconduct at an early stage.
Our Group has established an internal reporting hotline to detect and correct legal violations and misconduct at an early stage. We will protect the privacy of whistleblowers and ensure they are not subjected to any adverse treatment as a result of making a report.

Our Group conducts regular training for executives and employees to enhance their understanding of and awareness regarding compliance. We will review this policy as necessary in response to changes in the social environment and strive for continuous improvement.
