Regarding the "FocusRay Wired Model" that we will be releasing on March 18, 2026, we would like to explain the detailed connection specifications based on the design to ensure that there are no misunderstandings for our customers when purchasing.

The FocusRay wired model is designed for direct connection to a PC .

While some modern VR headsets (HMDs) have ports that allow communication with external devices, we believe that a direct connection to a PC is the most ideal way to stably transfer the ultra-high-speed, high-definition tracking data of 120 FPS that FocusRay provides, without any delay (latency).

This specification eliminates bandwidth limitations and power supply instability caused by routing through the HMD's port, providing a professional operating environment.

The included USB cable (1.5m) was selected as the optimal solution for connecting from a PC to the head via the back, without hindering movement or adding unnecessary weight. If the length is insufficient depending on your setup environment, we recommend using a commercially available extension cable.

Please note that if your VR headset has a USB port that allows communication with a PC, you can connect the product to it. (It will also function correctly.)
