1. About FocusRay

FocusRay is a face tracking device designed for VR SNS, featuring a high-performance camera and infrared illumination module. By utilizing a camera capable of 120fps with a global shutter*, it captures facial expressions in meticulous detail and synchronizes them with VR avatars for unparalleled realism.

*A global shutter ensures that all pixels on the image sensor are exposed simultaneously, allowing the device to capture fast-moving facial expressions accurately without distortion.

FocusRay supports the following headsets (dedicated mounting brackets included):

Note: This product does not currently support eye tracking; however, an eye-tracking add-on module is planned for future release.

In the Supporter Edition, the FocusRay wireless model features special specifications resistant to scratches and impacts. Additionally, you can choose up to three dedicated mounting brackets for free. Please check the Kickstarter page for details.

FocusRay will be sold worldwide through the Kickstarter campaign. Shipping is scheduled to begin sequentially from August of this year. Limited-price FocusRay units are Early Bird rewards, allowing you to get them faster and cheaper than regular sales. (Plans with unlimited units are not Early Bird.)

3. Support & Warranty

Since deciding to develop the FocusRay series, we have been preparing customer support and quick start guides. We will expand our support system so that it is easy for both Japanese and overseas customers to understand and start using.
