Announced "XRights," a copyright management and complaint service for individual creators

AoharuNEXT Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Rion Moriyama; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce the launch of "XRights" (read as: Cross-Rights), a copyright management and takedown service tailored for individual online creators. We are aiming for a beta release in December 2025.
1. Service Overview
Individual creators active on the internet frequently face copyright infringement from third parties, such as unauthorized use by automated "BOT" accounts on social media. When filing takedown requests under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or Japanese Copyright Law, creators are often forced to disclose their legal names and personal information to the infringing party.
Furthermore, creators often struggle to determine if their content is legally protected or if a specific instance constitutes a legal infringement.
By delegating copyright management to us through XRights, the Company will automatically file legal takedown requests against infringing content under the Company’s name. Users can handle everything from digital contracts to registering content assets directly on our website, with no need for direct communication or negotiation with us.
We plan to launch with three subscription-based tiers:
Entry Plan: We file takedown requests only for specific content reported by the user. (No automated monitoring).
Higher Tiers: Based on the registered content assets, we continuously monitor supported social media platforms during the contract period and automatically file takedown requests upon discovering infringement.
Users can set specific rules, such as exempting content that follows their official derivative work guidelines. Takedown status, volume, and analytics can be reviewed at any time via the service portal.
2. Key Features
Fully Online Setup: From contracting to asset registration, the entire process is completed online. There is no need for individual inquiries or negotiations; you can start using the service immediately upon payment, just like any standard subscription.
Automated Infringement Discovery (Specific Plans): With the applicable plans, users do not need to find and report infringing content themselves; our system handles the monitoring for you. (Note: We do not guarantee that every instance of infringement will be successfully removed.)
Privacy Protection: In a standard takedown request, a creator's real name is often disclosed to the infringing party—a significant risk for those working under a pseudonym. By using XRights, the Company (AoharuNEXT Inc.) files the claim, ensuring your personal information remains confidential. (Note: Personal information is required for the contract with AoharuNEXT, but will be handled strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Information Security Policy.)
3. Future Schedule
We are pushing forward with development to release the beta version in December 2025, with a goal for the official launch in the first half of 2026.
4. Beta Pre-registration
Starting today, we are accepting pre-registrations as part of a preliminary survey for the beta release. By submitting the form below, you will receive the latest updates and an invitation to the beta launch. Customers who pre-register will receive a complimentary period of our paid subscription service.
